Besides UF, the 6-foot-3, 205-pounder already holds offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Oregon, and Tennessee.
QUICK Q&A
Who came on the visit with you?
“My girlfriend came on the visit with me.”
What was the day like?
“I arrived that morning and went to the indoor facility to watch 7v7. Then I did a few drills with coach [Jay] Bateman.”
What coach or coaches did you speak with the most and what is the Florida staff’s message to you at this point?
“I spoke with coach Bateman the most and the main message to me is to continue to come to camps and to work on playing multiple positions.”
What was the highlight of the day?
“My highlight was realizing that I had a vibe with the coaching staff.”
After the visit, what are your thoughts on Florida?
“I really like the school and the facilities at Florida. I could see myself fitting in.”
Out of your early offers is there one or two that really caught your attention? A ‘wow’ moment?
“Bama was a wow moment and the very first two college offers that gave me a ‘wow’ moment were FSU and UCF
You’ve been on multiple campuses, what were a couple of your favorite visits?
“Some of my favorite visits were Bama, FSU, Florida, and UCF.”
It’s still early, but do you have any leaders or are there a couple of programs that you know will be there until the very end for whatever reason?
“I still have two more years of high school, so I don’t really have any programs at the very top of my list at the moment. I’m just trying to take it all in honestly.”
What’s going to be important to you when you make your choice?
“My education will play the most important part when deciding what college I will attend. Then it will matter whether or not I will be a good fit at the school and if it will help me develop as a person and athlete.”
