QUICK Q&A

Did you have a favorite college team (or player) growing up? If so, who and why?
“Probably Missouri. I think that came from having my dad attend the university and growing up in Columbia as well as going to and watching lots of games.”

Out of your offers is there one or two that really caught your attention? A ‘wow’ moment?
“I’d say that Georgia/Alabama were two that I really saw as the standard of how far I had come when I received them. Those meant a lot for sure.”

How did the Florida offer come about? Who did you communicate with and what did they have to say to you?
“It came about through a player personnel assistant and through OL/OC Coach Rob Sale.”

What are your early impressions of Florida?
“My early impressions are that the program is very good and they compete in the best conference in football, so they are definitely worth monitoring in my recruitment.”

Have you visited any college campuses yet? If so, where and what were a couple of your favorite visits?
“I’ve visited: Missouri (4 times), Oklahoma (3), Nebraska (3), Georgia (3), Alabama (2), Arkansas (2), Tennessee (1), Texas A&M (1), TCU (1) and Kansas State (1). My favorites so far have been UGA and Bama last summer and some of my Mizzou and Tennessee visits.”

Do you know of any visits to see schools in the summer that you want to take? If so, who and when?
“I know I’m going to be visiting Oregon when I’m at Nike Nationals this summer for track. I want to take more as well.”

Will you visit Florida?
“I’m not sure when yet, but it could be in the cards in the future.”

Do you have any leaders or are there a couple of programs that you know will be there until the very end for whatever reason?
“There’s definitely a few, mostly within the schools I’ve visited – at least all of the ones I’ve been to more than once.”

What’s going to be important to you when you make your choice?
“Relationship with coaches, proximity, success of the program, academics, overall fit with me as a player, etc…”
