You are probably right. What a mess... I guess there is a chance we name a coach that can keep it together. I actually think the talent we have could be successful with better coaching. I think they need to play with more of an edge..

He's a pro and a great Gator. Love that guy. If we had had any kind of pass rush or a competitive front 7 during his tenure, I think the narrative about his college career would be different.

Mullen quit on us. We did not choose to move on from him. He made it very clear he was done coaching college football. We can argue about who we should have hired but Mullen was not an option. He quit and he had lost the team.

It hasn't worked out for him at UF on the field and his coaching future doesn't look terribly bright but he's already a rich man and he's going to really wealthy pretty soon.

Meyer's success was when recruiting really mattered. I'm not sure the Meyer approach would be as successful in this environment. Add to that some of his personal issues and I think that makes hiring him here a bad idea.

I wonder how closely this lines to how much money is bet on the game or how many people have bet on the game? Seems like lots of folks might be gambling on Colorado and that might be part of the reason for the rating.

Ron Roberts is the only real candidate for an interim. The timing is not great either. I guess it never is but Jedd Fisch is the only good and realistic alternative and he just started a new job. It's going to be tough to get him right now...

Seems alot of these are walk-ons or non-participants anyway. Jackson, Jean and Wilson are a bummer though. Of course, Lyons is huge bummer but we knew about that... Turner and Moore out means half of starting backend of defense is out.

From what I can surmise, the current Florida coaching staff doesn't light up players pre-game, post-game or ever. Really shouldn't do it in-game but there is a place for it. Football is a emotional game and players, especially young ones, need an injection of urgency sometimes.
