Damn. I wonder if he has a medical issue causing this? Whether it's that or lack of discipline or both, I hope he gets it figured out because I can't imagine life expectancy or quality of life is too great at that weight.

He could also make some serious NFL money at something less than 350 pounds.

If he doesn't lose a lot of weight he'll lose the starting position in the fall. Maybe that's what he needs.

I hope he figures this out for his long term health. He can make a lot of money if he gets in shape short term. But this seems like a long term battle and I hope UF is there for him even after college.

Didn't he already lose it?
He lost it, then gained it all back in the off-season, now he's got some real competition for the position and he didn't show up ready to play. All those massive changes in body weight are really not good for you. He needs to listen to the coaches and find some self-control. I imagine he's lost the confidence of the players and the coaches. Last year he only needed to lose another 20 pounds or so to really be elite, then he does this.
