Why do we have so many offers

If I am reading this right it looks like we have offered over 150 recruits.

Some may have already decided that they don't like us or they committed to other teams.

That leaves over 100.

We are only going to sign somewhere between 20-25.

How many offers do we need to make?

I think this is a common strategy for alot of major programs. I don't really have any data but I'm pretty sure everyone does this.

Many of the offers are not "comittable" and I'm not sure how that's managed.

There's more then 100 offers we got out there.

Florida could end up extending 300 plus offers in a cycle. Not all are commitable. I've talked to kids that the only time they talked to UF is when they were offered.

That is every program.

You spread a wide net just in case

The number of offers don't matter as much as the real number. That's the amount of money they get offered. That's all that matters anymore.
