Look at how slow our team is.

Lagway isn't the fastest quarterback. A walk on is.

Hansen looks like he is running in mud most of the time and he is our fastest TE running a 4.8.

We used to have Hernandez and Reed running in the 4.5s.

We are slow and weak.

It's not misinformation. I was told a few weeks ago that Christian Williams was the fastest offensive lineman. At the very end of this chart, it does show he is by MPH. So this chart verifies that.

Though I linked to the episode when it came out (I think they are very well done, but basically propaganda until UF does something on the field), I didn't actually watch it. It looks like I should have.

I have a couple of thoughts on the numbers that I will put together over the July 4 weekend.

How many players do you think we have that would test at the top of top SEC teams like LSU, Georgia, Texas or Alabama?

Maybe Hawkins 40 would be up there.

We have SEC players but we don't have players as good as Georgia, Texas and Alabama have, and maybe Ole Miss(?). We are not that level right now, for sure.

I don't think any other teams in the SEC will be able to push us around though. We can go toe to toe with LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Missouri, Auburn, Tennessee and South Carolina.

The problem is we are not significantly better than any of them. Unfortunately, I think that ship might have sailed. In this era of player movement and NIL, we are still going to be a top program and have a big time year once in a while but we are middle of the pack talent wise in the SEC and that might not change much.

This team would one of the favorites to win the ACC if we were in that league, same with the Big 12, but we are a middle of the back SEC/Big Ten team.

Have you heard of a guy named DJ Lagway or one named LJ McCray. Don't believe everything you read, and you won't look stupid. Lagway is an athlete who plays QB and McCray is an athlete who plays DL.
