And the best part of their whole mess is last year they gave Norvell an extension after one good year and now his buyout is over 60 million. That will keep Deon away from Tallywacky at least for 3 more years. And then on top of all of that, FSU did not get into the AAU last year when both Miami and USF did, I am LMAO!

Wilfong tweet - Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage On300 RB and Florida State commit Byron Louis locks in an official visit to Florida
This is interesting, as were all the official visitors last weekend.
If I recall, official visits during game weekends was discouraged last year - I think there was only one, allowed because of scheduling.
Official visits were saved for bye weekends.
Why has this strategy changed?
Maybe lack of commitments this year?

A huge reason Urban Meyer was successful was FSU was down during the later stages of Bobby Bowden's career and we beat them up in recruiting. Most notably the Pouncey Twins were lifelong half-nole fans (and long time FSU commits) and ended being the foundation of a Gator dynasty. This is all good. Hope Miami loses to Wake. Then it will get really good.

Miami is over ranked in my opinion.

Good point.

Maybe - their schedule is certainly weak compared to a typical SEC schedule.
Miami does have talent, and they have Cam Ward who is having a nice year.
We will find out next year how their program is progressing.
All you have to do is look at FSU or LSU to see how they are doing after their one-year transfer QB leaves for the NFL.
It seems like you have to continually recruit HS QBs to sustain long term.
