The offense looked game ready Saturday except for long passes. We weren't throwing bombs. I don't think any of these quarterbacks have an arm like Richardson.

Napier was asked a couple of questions about the long ball because during Saturday's open practice that was the one thing you could really point to where Florida struggled to throw the ball. Now, I was focused mostly on the first and second string heading toward the south endzone, while the backups were on the other side of the field, going toward the north endzone, but from what I can remember, there weren't many completions where the ball traveled over 25 yards through the air. I can remember one outright, but there could have one or two more.

If we were planning to throw the long ball at Utah we wouldn't be showcasing it in an open practice.

Just as well they think we can't do it.

I'm most curious to see what Armstrong puts together for Utah. Whatever it is, we are going to be flying around the field, hopefully in the right places!

SEC football is fast. Utah didn't get to see that when we played last year, so they'll get a surprise on both sides of the ball this year. Just one of the ways UF will be different from what they think they know.
