Miami first-team All-MAC defensive lineman Caiden Woullard, who tied for the MAC League lead with 9.5 sacks, told me that Florida was in contact today but the Gators haven't offered.
WKU safety Kendrick Simkins has been offered. First Team All CUSA.
Good and bad news from Transfer Portal defensive end Cashius Howell. He told me that he is officially visiting Florida next week, but also has an official visit set with Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Two programs who kill it in the Portal.
South Alabama safety Jaden Voisin told me that he will officially visit Florida on January 3-5 and Arkansas on January 6-7.

Hey Mark, I know we don't overlap too often on recruiting but WKU transfer Kendrick Simpkins is trying to get an OV to Florida scheduled for January 4th. Not done yet but trending that way. He has locked in visits to Washington State on the 3rd and Baylor 5th-7th. If he takes the Florida one then it would be taking the second planned day away from WAZZU as he was supposed to be there on the 3rd and 4th.

Florida was very much in the running for Howard coming out of high school.
He won't visit MSU now either, but will trip to WVU. Two SEC visits not taking place makes you wonder if it is a league issue with credits transferring over.
