This is what Florida football coaches face every year

Couple of things....

1) It's not all about the coach. The University of Florida from the top down doesn't care about football as much as the administrations of those 10 teams. It just isn't a priority for us and that's a bit of headwind for whomever is the coach.

2) The good news is our national championships have all come during years we had a very difficult schedule. I believe in all cases we had to beat a good LSU team in Baton Rouge and Georgia and FSU, at least.

We have built a new football building and rebuilding the swamp for $400 million.

How can you say the admin don't care?

We (UF) don't care as much as Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Clemson and big time football powers.

We finally got some new facilities but it's 20 to 30 years too late, and not that great relative to the competition. It's remarkable we had so many good teams over the years despite the way we treat football coaches and players, despite absolutely pathetic facilities up until last year.

We were very fortunate to have Chuck Pell, Emmitt Smith, Coach Spurrier and Tim Tebow side with us.

To be fair some of those teams only care about football while we invest in all of our sports.

We can't have it both ways.

How many of those teams have all around athletic programs as good a ours?

Don't get me wrong I rather be great at football and good or average in everything else but that's not what our admin want to do.

The real issue is other coaches are negatively recruiting against us claiming that this is Napier’s last season. All we have to do is win. When that happens, recruiting will turn around. This is so obvious I don’t understand why some of you don’t get it.
