Miami is finding out Cristobal can't recruit and we already knew he wasn't a good coach.
The coach is important but University Presidents, ADs and Boards of Directors are even more important.

I don't think much of Mario but when so many coaches fail at a particular school, I tend to think there is something wrong with the University as a whole and it's commitment to football.

Florida suffers from this too. Chuck Pell did a good job and got massacred. SOS and Urban won big despite all the challenges of poor facilities, etc. and burned out. No one else could do it.

Look at LSU. Anybody can roll up there and win, even Ed O.

Their problem is they have a small fanbase in a city where there's a million better things to do on a Saturday than to drive 45 minutes to watch a game that has none of the college football pageantry you find almost every where else.
