That is like saying ask anyone associated with the Washington Redskins what kind of coach Steve Spurrier was.
Not really.
Meyer was an embarrassment to the organization, not only on the field but also off the field.
He once again created a toxic environment inside the locker room.
Spurrier shouldn't be judged by what he did with the Redskins just like Meyer shouldn't be judged by what he did with the Jaguars.
They were both top college coaches.
I would take Meyer in a heartbeat and we would win two more championships in the next five years.
I'm not a prophet to say one coach will win X number of championships in a certain time frame as opposed to another.
But there have been patterns of behavior that Meyer has shown wherever he has gone.
He surrounds himself with either personnel and/or players of questionable character.
He creates a toxic culture inside the locker room.
He tends to be be abrasive to the media.
He plays mind games with players, often times detrimental to the team.
Plus he is not guaranteed to last five years in one spot, for one reason or another.
Sorry, but I would take my chances with Napier over Meyer for the next five years.
