Thank you for the link to the contract.
But from what I understand of this, is that Rashada is not suing the Collective for breach of contract.
It seems he is bringing suit against Napier, Hathcock, and Castro-Walker, none of who had, in principle, anything to do with Gator Collective.
The claim seems to be that they misled him thereby losing out on the agreement he had with Miami.
I don't know what evidence they have, but good luck to them proving all this in court.
From my un-expert opinion, it seems the goal is to reach some sort of settlement - I truly know nothing about the legalities here.
I can also sympathize since this whole NIL disaster is a result of the greed of all administrators associated with college football/basketball.
He seems to be grasping to blame someone.

Unless Napier or the others actually signed anything, verbal means squat as lying to recruits has been going on since there has been college football. Something tells me that Kirby's dirty little fingers has something to do with it.

We got off to a rough start to the collective and portal era and this was a low point. We seem to have improved significantly on this front in 2024. Hopefully we can get past this episode.

The suit does seem like a desperate attempt to get some $ in a settlement.

If Kirby is involved, he has to know that karma is a bitch and it will come back to bite him one day.

How are we blaming Smart for our screwup?

We need to man up and take responsibility that our football program is a shitshow because of Napier and Stricklin.
