He’s hired 2 football and one basketball coach. Those are the only ones anyone cares he gets right. Or largely. Looking kinda rough on those 3 though I have more hope for golden right now if he can motivate the team to play defense.

What's ignored here is that Foley let the facilities deteriorate.
Football has only now caught up with other SEC schools and Foley should have used Spurrier's popularity to collect funds for improvement.
Included in the deteriorating facilities were student housing for athletes, which was pathetic compared to other schools.
The campus looks completely different now with Stricklin overseeing construction and renovation of major sport facilities compared to when Foley left.

Agreed. Foley is guilty of all you mentioned. I must also add that Foley was not responsible for hiring Urban Meyer; President Machin forced Meyer on Foley, so he cannot even take credit for those 2 championships. He is also responsible for Muschamp and McElwain.
