I’m not getting worked up about this weekend. If we did what we should have the recruits will see we are the better option. Then NIL will make an equivalent impact closer to signing day

17 visitors and no commitments has to be a record.
Four of the 17 prospects visiting were already committed to Florida.

They likely added another (Jones), it's just a matter of time.

I didn't get to speak with Smith or McCray (I have some feelers out), and I would have liked to get some feedback directly from them.

I think he'll pick up something in the next two weeks. But they may have made some significant progress with some important recruits yesterday. We should be getting some feedback in the next day or two.
We need more fans like this.

Even if we don't get instant gratification that with a commitment it doesn't mean we didn't have a great weekend.

I've been reading some of the feedback from some key recruits and I think the weekend was a success for UF. There will be commitments from several of the recruits who were here for it. The one recruit who canceled, Jamari Howard, has rescheduled for 2 weeks from now, so really no negatives at all.

I think UF moved the needles the right way with Smith and I just read a post visit interview with McCray and he basically said UF made it hard on his other scheduled visits. It wasn't BS, he really like Boone, who showed him around town, and the way the coaches talked with him.

I saw that Smith is visiting OSU this weekend. If we moved the needle we didn't move it enough.

You do understand that these visits are arranged in advance, right? And it's not like he's never been to OSU before. So, I don't understand your point. UF made their pitch. He saw it all and now he makes a decision. There are no guarantees you know.

He did take OSU stuff off of his IG. Maybe he won't go there this weekend.
