Napier says that the Swamp played a key role in the win today. Says that the team looks forward to playing in the swamp, it gives them energy and incentive to win at home.

Napier says that the team will enjoy tonight but preparation for Tenessee starts immediately.

Napier: "Some of the guys we observe that work hard every week, don't always play that week."

Napier adds that the staff executed the gameplan perfectly. "That's what you want when you play a team like this."

Napier: "Staying on schedule, creating manageable downs... We certainly did that tonight."

On Montrell Johnson: Napier says that the team looked to stay in manageable situations, especially on third downs.

Napier says that it's the best the defense has played in 86 years, perhaps referring to the low scoring opponent.

Napier: "To come back and play cleaner, I think was a positive." Says that the team recruiting emphasis was set on players that could get to the quarterback with a challenge in Joe Milton ahead.

Napier: "One of our emphasis in recruiting is to go get guys that can get after the quarterback"

"The swamp will be a lot different next week, it's a bigger stage," Napier adds that the staff must be prepared to show up to the game with confidence, something, that according to Napier, the young players still need to learn.

Napier on Mertz: "The guy is really bright, he's a great communicator, he's one of the hardest working players I've ever worked with."

Napier adds that Mertz is a product of hard work and an exemplary presence in the locker room, "A great example of any standard you set."

Napier is talking about how important the veterans have been with the young players.

Napier highlights "Year two in the system," as he commends the staff and the players' growth in his second year at UF.

Napier on Max Brown and Micah Leon: "Max did some good things there in the first possession he had, each guy probably made a mistake or two."
