Spent today's session focusing on the defense. The team was inside today.
There was a group of players working in the weight room, most of them injured players and a few that were healthy previously.
OL Kamryn Waites, DL Kelby Collins, DB Jason Marshall, WR Alex Gonzalez, OL Richie Leonard, TE Dante Zanders, DL Andre Morris, OL Lyndell Hudson LB Scooby Williams were observed. It appears that Waites has shed the boot he'd been wearing.
There were a couple others, but I couldn't verify completely.
S Miguel Mitchell was in a non-contact jersey but participated in drills.
Watching the DL, there's no doubt there's some good players in that room. Caleb Banks had a few good reps in individual drills.
STARs worked on tackling drills with Austin Armstrong, while safeties worked on chasing down balls on crossing routes.
LBs worked on shedding blocks and OLB worked on punches and dropping back in coverage. No major standouts for these drills, but based on lineups, Princely Umanmielen and Justus Boone took first reps at OLB, and Teradja Mitchell and Deuce Spurlock took first reps at MLB.
