Missouri led No. 5 Florida by as many as 19 points in the first half, but the Gators managed to narrow it to two (79-77) before falling back to an 83-82 loss. UF is now 15-2 (2-2) on the season. Walter Clayton Jr. (28 points) and a double-double from Rueben Chinyelu (11 points, 10 boards) came to play, but UF's bench was outscored 35-9 by the Tigers' bench.
