No. 1 Seed Florida vs No. 16 Seed Norfolk State Game Thread

It's 53-23 UF. The race now is to see if Chinyelu or Haugh can get to double digit scoring in the first half.
No. 1 seed Florida hasn't had a bit of trouble with No. 16 seed Norfolk State, leading 53-32 at the half. Walter Clayton Jr. has 16 points to lead the Gators.
Norfolk State has settled in here and is hanging with UF this half, and the Gators are up 70-48 with 12:38 remaining.
Norfolk State has three players in double digit scoring, UF is still waiting on that third player.
One on hand, UF has a 21 point lead. On the other hand, they have been badly outplayed over the last 13 minutes of game play.
It's UF up 72-52 with 10:22 remaining. Other than Will Clayton Jr., there's not much to hang your hat on if you are the Gators.
Win and advance what matters most. Maybe a closer than expected game will light a fire under a team that might have been reading their own headlines.
Remember when I posted that UF's front court was 8-of-9 from the field. They have cooled off considerably, and are now 11-of-23. Hitting just 3 of their last 14 shots.
