Cam Ward is the first player off the board.
Last year he had the single most dominant performance against the Gators that I saw all year.
Hell, looking back, that might be the most dominant outing against Florida in the last decade.
I'm not just talking about the stat sheet, there's the old saying that it looked like men against boys. In this case it actually did look like a man against boys out there.
It looked like the father in the backyard being all time quarterback for a group of preteen boys.
He literally did what he wanted with little to no effort. He looked like he was about three levels above every other player on the field that day.
It will be interesting to see how he does in the NFL. I hate it's in the AFC South.

As a Jacksonville fan, they either secured potentially a difference maker - or overpaid, and will continue to do what the Jaguars do.

With R2 in the books, it's crickets so far for Florida. With no Gators off the board yet, it's been 13 years (2012) since Florida hasn't had a player drafted in the first two rounds.
Former Florida Gators defensive end Princely Umanmielen comes off the board in the third round to the Carolina Panthers.
With R3 in the books, and officially no Gators off the board (Umanmielen doesn't count in the record books) yet.
