I was part of a couple of those 'arguments', but I wouldn't really call them arguments, it's just people sharing their opinion.

Much like with my response to a Waller thread here on the forum, it isn't my purpose to share a positive or a negative. I share what I think is pertinent and offer an opinion if I have one.

Florida hosted I think 44 or 45 official visitors in June. We didn't get them all for exit interviews as they were leaving campus, but let's say we got about 25-30 of them.

Out of all those interviews, to my recollection, only two of the visitors were asked what they measured in at.

One was Michai Boireau, just because of how massive he is. His measurement is a storyline. The other was Jamonta Waller, because as a five-star type, he was smaller than expected.

Forget what you think, or what I think, or where the recruiting services have him listed as HE SAID when leaving campus, he measured in at 6-foot-1 on his UF official visit.

My take take (an opinion), was that seemed a little generous.

Without paying attention to the soles on his shoes, or the soles on my own, from the eye test, standing right next to him, I'm under 6-foot-1, and he was a tad shorter than me.

Does that mean that he can't be a dominant player? Absolutely not. What it means, at least to me, is that of the three services, On3 is closer to his listed height than the others.

That isn't to defend that service. Hell, I put more faith in 247's individual rankings, but they are closer to being correct in the case of his height.

Their argument seems solid to me. They think he's a good athlete but won't have much of an impact at the major college level because they aren't big enough. There are a bunch of good players that aren't highly ranked because of their size. I hope he turns out to be a great player and a great Gator.
