In looking up the team recruiting rankings, I see that DJ Lagway, who was an On3 Consensus five-star two weeks ago when he officially visited Florida, is now an On3 Consensus four-star.
This Elite 11 will be interesting to keep an eye on. He doesn't seem to mind competition.

I was praying he would have a good camp to rub it in there face.

Some players are better in games than they are in practices.
As I understand it, that was just day 1. Day 2 is going on now. Besides I've already seen enough on the films to understand why Napier went all in recruiting Lagway. He is big, has an amazing arm, has as quick a release as you could want and throws a tight spiral every time. Accuracy looked great, there was nothing not to like. He'll do.

All of these recruiting sites will probably drop him more because he didn't look good in short.

I'll wait till the season starts to worry about if he's good or not.

UF was lucky to have several legendary QB's. Tebow, Spurrier, and Wuerffel. There was also Grossman and John Reaves, and Trask. In comparison, Lagway has a superior skillset to any of those. He's as powerful running as Tebow but has much the better arm. There are some things in his mechanics that need tweaking to improve his accuracy and like all QB's with a cannon for an arm, he may have to work on putting more arch on the ball and dropping it into the lane or window instead of those bullets all the time. But he's for real, he can be the next QB legend easily. JMO.
