Speaking of official visitor player hosts. When I asked around a decade ago, I was told, if my memory is correct, that they were given $40 for the weekend and were told of certain places to steer clear of. I had players tell me they would pocket the money and take the visitor back to the dorms to hang out. Now a days, they are given $100 for the weekend, and told to show the visitors around but be safe.
