Is Simmons reclassifying or not?

Coach Napier said he was getting another quarterback but it isn't a transfer. Is Simmons still considering reclassifying? There was an interview that said he wasn't. He went to another school and he showed his stats from a spring practice.

What is going on with him?

This feels dirty like we're exploiting some kind of child labor laws for our benefit but not really for his.

I just don't see the benefit to UF. I would expect UF is best served by having Simmons enroll a year later than Lagway and then red-shirt.

I asked him on Thursday and he told me that he didn't want to discuss it, but I could speak with his father.

In another thread, I mistakenly said he is 16. He told me he is indeed 17.

I know he's smart, but I just think he's too young physically for this big a step. Aside from that, I think it's better for UF if he follows Lagway by a year and reshirts. UF could be set at QB for 4 to 5 years. Also, by the end of this season, he'll have a 5th star.

I think that's what I read, the 29th is the enrollment deadline, but I haven't read anything that sounded like he wanted to re-classify. Everything he's said is he's looking forward to his senior season. I don't blame him, he can take a shot at #1 ranked QB in the country and that 5th star, and he's the big man at school.

Yeah and after his unexpected visit to a competitor he was back at UF last Wed. unofficially and apparently on the down-low. So it could be that somethings up. No way to know for sure.
