In 2 years we've beaten three teams that finished with winning records.

Utah, Tennessee and South Carolina.

No coach has ever started out so bad and went on to be a championship coach.

None.

Ever.

It only matters this year. If coach can find 6 or more wins he gets to stick around for 2025 to see what he can do with Lagway as our quarterback. If he can't he doesn't deserve another year.

There's no need to talk about the past anyway. We have to look to this season.

7 wins this year is the absolute minimum and maybe not be enough. 3 years in the age of Transfer Portal and NIL are simply enough time. He's been given everything he has asked for.

Every statistic about him and every metric and measurable that you can look at says he isn't the man for the job.

Until he does something to shut everyone up all we have is our faith to go on.

What he's done or not been able to do does matter. He's been a poor choice.

Maybe that changes this year or maybe it doesn't.

This season will either be a beginning to some significant success for Napier, or he will be gone by the end of the season. Myself, for reasons I cannot explain, I feel we might shock the conference this year and end up the regular season 9-3. Lets hope.
