I really want to know what football culture is

I really want to know what it means to have a good or bad football culture.

KC is the best NFL team and they have more screwed up players than any other NFL team. They had a defensive tackle arrested for negleting dogs. I saw a thing on Facebook where he said he was going to go watch dog fights. A reciever that broke his son's arm. This other receiver who has already been arrested 2 times this offseason.

Georgia has been the best team in college football for the last 4 or 5 years. They have players get arrested over and over.

What is culture and what does it matter?

The only culture I care about is a winning culture on Saturdays.

I think good culture means team is player led (not coach led), players have belief they will win every time they take the field, and players have their teammates (and coaches) backs, I think you have to be a little bit nuts to be a football player so I guess some of these shenanigans comes with the territory...

That's a good explanation but proof we don't know. Was Alabama player or coach led?

What about Georgia?

Players come and go but the coaches are there year after year.

we’ve seen the bad side of this issue. Meyer lost control and a bad culture can ruin things.
