Graham transfers to Buchholz

Buchholz has quickly become a force in the state, but a pipeline to UF and other Division 1 schools:
2026: Trace Johnson (QB, son of Doug Johnson)
2025: Mike Peterson Jr.
2024: Kendall Jackson (4-star commit), Myles Graham (4-star commit)
2023: Gavin Hill (4-star enrollee), Bryan Rosenberg (UF Walk-on OL), Creed Whittemore (3-star Miss. State enrollee), Jaren Hamilton (4-star Alabama enrollee), Jacarree Kelly (Delaware enrollee)
2022: Quan Lee (4-star UCF enrollee)
2021: Jacob Watkins (UF Walk-on Punter), Quan Smith (Kennesaw State enrollee)
2020: Mark Pitts (UF Walk-on OL), Noah Keeter (UF Walk-on TE), Ethan Ingram (2-star Marshall enrollee)
2019: Trent Whittemore (3-star signee), Camden Orth (now at Bowling Green)
Obviously a trend in recent years for UF to go after Buchholz guys, but they've had some talent come through before. If you like seeing recruits in HS and good football, go to a Buchholz game. I've been to plenty the last three years for various work and I've never been disappointed. Really good football against quality opponents.

Are we recruiting them?
I like the idea of having the sons of former players on the team.
They're 2025-6 so I don't know or care yet. I assume the coaching staff is doing their evaluation and picking who they'll recruit. There were a ton of 2025 recruits in G-ville yesterday for the Grill in the Ville.

Mike Pete Jr. just transferred from Oak Hall (small private school to Buchholz), some D1 interest but limited at the moment. Trace Johnson has yet to start a game (I'm not sure if he's even played in a game yet). This season will be when they start to get interest from schools, and considering their family connections and where they're going to school, I wouldn't be surprised if UF goes after them.
Update: Mike Peterson Jr. is officially being recruited. Going to have to wait on Johnson (I believe he's a 2026 recruit) but wouldn't be surprised if UF gets after it early if his season goes well.
Doug Johnson was a gunslinger at QB, not afraid to go up top anytime. I think he played for Spurrier in the '90's and had an NFL career.
