Give us your expectation for Florida football this year

I don't expect the world this year. We need to have a good enough record to go to a bowl game.

Beat at least one of our rivals this year. If coach Napier loses to TN, FSU, Georgia and LSU again like we did last year I don't know how he is ever going to build any good will with the fans.

Nothing can create unhappiness faster than unrealistic expectations. That will apply again this season because the rebuild is far from complete and the schedule is very tough, then, in 24 it gets even worse. UF may well field the youngest roster in the SEC, some of the starters will be true freshmen still adjusting to the speed of the game at the SEC level and still learning the complexities of the playbook. Frankly, if Napier can manufacture a winning season I would be very happy. Possible bowl game, a season's worth of game reps to help the roster get better. That would be a very successful season, IMO.

Showing improvement in every aspect of the game and 8 wins (including the bowl game) seems like a step in the right direction. Vegas and sports writers think we win 5 or 6 so showing them up would be nice.

If the team finishes the year one year older and one year better and, most importantly, full of belief/confidence/enthusiasm (whatever you want to call it) going into the off season I will be satisfied.

I expect us to play better in all phases than we did last year but still struggle for bowl eligibility. If the team stays together, we could be a much better team in the bowl game and we won't have any opt outs. We should be much better in the next bowl game than we were in the last one.

Realistic.

Because of our predictable style of offense, I think it’s going to be difficult for us to upset any of our rivals so I’m predicting 5 wins at best.
Nobody has seen Napier's offense yet, so I can't see how you'd know this, even in spring practice the offense showed almost none of the offense to avoid Utah having any game film to study. What we know is he likes a run-heavy offense to control time of possession and make the defense play run-prevent, but in Napier's offense the QB can option anytime he see's an opening. So when the defense starts playing run defense, UF will attack vertically behind the defense or shallow just behind the LB's to a slot receiver or TE. Given the personnel to run it consistently, it's very difficult to stop.

We had the 4th pick in the draft running the offense last year with elite backs. If AR couldn’t do it we’re gonna need to wait for lagway to see what it can truly do.

We have to make it to a bowl game.

That's the minimum expectation.

If you aren't good enough to be one of 70 teams to make it to a bowl game with the resources at Florida then you don't deserve to be the coach.
