Why not take it as a compliment that they think we have something good that they want to copy or maybe they're trying to bring him in for an interview to find out how we're doing things.

If Napier has any balls at all he'll tell him there's no reason to come back, we'll pack your shit and Fed Ex it to you.

Interviewing for the job means he rather be there then here.

Don't give him the option of coming back.

Show some damn pride.
I guess it could be seen as a sign that we're hiring good people when the really great teams want to steal them from us.

Why would Georgia want to wonder or worry about how we're doing things?

They are levels above us.

He wasn't a recruiter he only was the liason between the team and NIL.

That isn't a big loss.
This comment assumes that recruiting is not dependent on NIL.

I have a couple of comments on this in that I haven't heard UF hiring a replacement yet and I think this loss is underestimated.
College football is moving more toward an NFL model, and I think this position will become more important in the near future, especially if the athletes move to unionize.
Another point to consider, while I support the way Napier is building the football program, and I believe the team will eventually improve, I am not sold on Napier's ability to win an SEC championship.
I think we won't know for another couple of years whether Florida will be able to challenge Georgia.
If that were to be the case, it would be interesting to see if Napier would move into this role and hire another football coach to replace himself?
He has built the football infrastructure, so it would not be out of the realm of possibility that he continues in the football support/ evaluation end and let someone else coach.
