Situations like this are when Riley Kugel has to step up. His team is struggling offensively. Virginia's knocking down shots. The Gators find themselves down nearly double digits. He has to make a play or two here and get his team back some of the momentum as the "best player." I know he's young, but I wouldn't be so tough on him if he didn't have the talent he has. He is an NBA talent. It'd be injustice to settle for complacency from him when he has the potential he does.

You know, I'd love to see some sets ran for Will Richard. I feel like virtually none are. I'd love to see him used a bit how the Warriors use Klay Thompson. A few off-ball plays to get him shots coming off screens early on could be huge for him throughout the rest of games. He's the best pure-shooter on this team, and having him hot, knocking down shots unlocks a new level for them.

Finding a way to win this game would be huge for a lot of different reasons. It's not season-defining, of course, with it being so early, but I think a win here could be the catalyst for a lot of good things to come for Golden and this group.
