Florida completes a deep pass and Douglas does a hell of a job. Give him credit, at the end of last year he had the dropsies, but he has been money this season.
The deep balls havent been good from Mertz, the first one was overthrown, the next two have been brought down by Pearsall and Douglas.
Great play call there. The UK defense thought UF was coming up the middle again and Napier crossed them up. Hansen gets his first touchdown as a Gator.
Spent time trying to find a nicer way of posting this but this is the craziest display of takling displayed by this defense.
Here we go. I hate to overhype it, but these two opening series might be the most important of the Florida season. UF can't give up a score, and if they do, they need to respond. If they come out ahead in this exchange, there's still hope. If they come put giving up more than they gain, well...
Discipline and hunger are lacking for Florida on every level. UK will have just about put this one to bed should Florida not respond with a score of their own.
Jesse Palmer is absolutely dunking on Florida now. The Gators had 13 players on the field against nine Kentucky blockers, and UK still scored.
It's almost as if Florida plays its best when its best players get the ball, who would've thought
