FSU is practicing in Jacksonville

FSU is holding a mini camp in Jacksonville practicing there for a couple of days.

Have we ever done that?

Why don't we do that?

Jacksonville has always been Gator country with a few dogs sprinkled in. I think I'm related to the 3 Seminole fans in Duval county.

Does it help? Recruits get all expense paid trips to visit the schools

We should hold our camp in Miami or at IMG. 2 or 3 days of practice for all the recruits to stop by and watch without having to leave their area.

The reason the UF/UGA game every year is in Jacksonville is that the city pays both schools millions of dollars to keep the game there for the money it brings into the local economy. I have no knowledge of the FSU camp management but it makes sense to me that Jacksonville would like to see more of this kind of activity in their city. As to whether it helps FSU to recruit, I have no idea but it couldn't hurt.
