Huge run by Treyaun Webb to end the third quarter. And I know TV rules the world, but I don't love that Napier has to give an interview in game here.
Flag on the play as the freshman tight end is called on to make a block on a third and six receiver screen.
Another big penalty, this time it takes away a first down. To make matters worse, Slaughter makes it 3rd&21.
A dink and dunk offense can't afford these types of offensive penalties. They can't be behind the chains.
That type of call on third and 20 is going to help pad Mertz's stats and keep his completion percentage high, but has little chance of actually converting.
Penalties are killing the Gators. This drive could have potentially ended with 7 points, and most likely the game. Now the defense has to make a big stop here on four down territory.
The crowd erupts after the massive sack. This could have been the play that wins the game for Florida.
