Give the fans credit. Over the last couple of years, it would take into the second quarter for the stadium to start to fill in. The Gator Nation is here early today.
Of course it would be Tre Wilson getting the ball on the first play of the game. 11-yard gain for the All-SEC Freshman receiver.
3rd-and-5 Gators go for a jet sweep for Wilson. Mertz seemed frustrated, redirecting Montrell Johnson before the snap. Ended with a loss of three... punt unit came on.
Fight on the field by the Gators 5-yard line. Scuffle with a Hurricane player flopping pretty blantantly. Broken up quickly.
Cam Ward has had plenty of time in the pocket, and his mobility isn't making it any easier for the Gators' defense. He's looked really sharp so far, and his arm has been superb.
