Mertz has been a lot better than I ever anticipated, I'll eat my words on my preseason outlook on him, but it doesn't feel like he has a good pocket presence.
Flea-flicker had plenty of options. Wilson was a risky one down the middle but could have been a touchdown if everything went perfectly. Pearsall was the safer option and gets a big gain.
Two straight completions and Florida is close to the Redzone. Then the FS will put them behind schedule.
Tykee Smith is down for Georgia. Been a disruptive presence on defense today. He has six tackles, including one for loss and a pass breakup on Pearsall.
Turnover on downs. You would like to see a slant or crossing pattern there 5 yards down the field, but it is what it is.
Jason Marshall getting things going defensively. A big tackle in space and another pass deflection off the edge.
