When you play Georgia, you can't go back-to-back drives without a score. Let's see if the offense can respond.
Armstrong has huddled up the entire defense, everyone is on their feet with Armstrong at the center on the sideline.
Kelby Collins looked like he had a lot to say in the defensive huddle clapping and yelling with Armstrong beside him
Johnson shoots through the gap, Etienne tries to pick him up but just bumps him before he sacks Mertz
I understand that as an underdog, you feel like you have to pull out all stops, but I don't know that Billy Napier as a play caller has the feel for when to do it. That reverse killed all momentum, the fourth down play was even worse, and it could get ugly here.
Napier walks over to the QB unit to talk to Mertz. Napier kind of leaned over to talk to the Wisconsin transfer.
Armstrong pulled Soocby Williams over to talk after that UGA TD, he yanked Umanmielen into the conversation as Princely tried to walk by.
Florida needs to do something, even if it is a long clock killing clock to let the defense rest and regroup.
If we're being honest here, to this point in his Florida tenure, Saturdays as a whole haven't been his strong point. From game management to play calling, to getting his players ready, there are still questions to be answered.
All those plays within 10 yards of the line aren't going to work against a defense with upper-end SEC speed.
