As we've seen all year, if it isn't against South Carolina's league-worst (and bottom five in the nation) pass defense, or a team playing prevent, Florida simply doesn't have a vertical passing game. It is what it is at this point.
Jefferson had Armstrong wide open on the right sideline post route. Luckily for the Gators, he didn't even look that way. Razorbacks settle for a FG and now lead 20-17
Like you would expect from a true freshman, an up-and-down day from Castell. He has the pick, and then the whiff on the tackle attempt results in a 50-yard-plus game and results in a field goal.
It would've been a difficult throw to make, and I'm not sure Mertz could've, but if he looked back to his left while rolling out right just there, Wilson was wide open in the middle of the field by the line of scrimmage with nobody within 20 yards of him.
