Condon, talking about his transition from Australia to Gainesville, says its a “dream come true.” Says after getting an offer from Florida, coming here was a “no brainer.”
Says Australian basketball is more about moving the ball and assists, whereas here it’s more about isolation and guys having individual jobs.
Got here at 218 body weight. Is now 229. Wants to get up to 235 for the season - “good playing weight”
Says strong points are his touch around the room and footwork, as well as his motor and rebounding ability. Says something he’s working on is his jump shot. Adds that his goal is to get on the court this season.
Says he can play on the perimeter a bit, but plays more back to the basket in the post rather than face-up.
