They didn't ask me for my feedback, because they don't care, but in my opinion, updating the rankings each month is overkill. There is no way that they are vetting the movement as thoroughly as they used to - and that can cause an overreaction to seeing a kid do something great or poor in one setting.

You can bet it is to increase engagement, but it hurts their credibility.
