He'll either be good and we'll be good or he won't, and we won't.

I'm waiting to see what he looks like in that practice that they're going to let us watch on Saturday.

If he looks good, then I don't care what anyone writes about him.

If he doesn't look good, I'll say they might be right.

Mertz doesn't have to be a top 5 QB in order to run Napier's offense. He has to manage the game by making his reads and reacting per the playbook. That's it. That's all there is to this subject. You, however, need to get a life of your own that doesn't involve constantly complaining about, or criticizing, Gator players or coaches. You apparently have no self-respect at all to come here and be a complete *ss, to get the attention you apparently don't get anywhere else. Not our problem. Go see a psychologist. To anyone else here who's actually a Gator fan, I suggest the "ignore" option for this loser. I've used it on a couple of other whiners, and it improves your life a little. After this post I'm going to make Titletown disappear too.

It's an opinion given by some Wisconsin fans and some coaches and some sportswriters. Most, of course, are following the prevailing narrative that Mertz didn't work out so he's a bum, which should make you happy. Just don't bother me anymore b/c you're too lazy to jump online and do some research of your very own. I'm fine with Napier, everything he's done, and Mertz if Napier thinks he can get it done. BTW, your left-handed "defense" of Mertz in the OP probably didn't fool anyone. You always have something negative to say about Napier and the program and your act is getting a bit stale.

I am negative about Mertz because he hasn't showed that he is a good college quarterback.

I'm not negative about Napier.
