Realistically 7-5 would be great given this schedule and the fact that many freshmen and transfers will make up this team. Anything above 7 wins will be significant; not being pessimistic. Just some realisation that this schedule is among the most difficult in the league. Hopefully, we can upset some ranked teams in the swamp. That is the key.

The bad news is that is ESPN's FPI, which I don't know the formula, but I discounted using it when during LSU's National Championship winning season, where they blew by everyone, FPI only ranked them the third-best team in the nation. After that, I stopped listing it on the site. That was just silly and whatever their formula is, they need to adjust it.

I will take 8-4, but if things fall the right way for us (not losing any key starters to injury), I only have us losing to LSU and UGA.
I can see a path to 7-5 and I can see 10-2, but it's more important to me that UF looks better as the season goes along. 2024 is the end of re-build, it'll be GO time, and if that happens it will have been the fastest rebuild of a badly depleted program I can recall.
