I agree with you on Venables. That being said, if Napier does not go at least 8-4 in the regular season, he should be gone. The Administration has given him everything that he has asked for, we have facilities that compare with all the top programs, a support staff that dwarfs most programs, a rebuilt Defense that finished last year strong, a top tier Offensive line returning and debatably the top QB in College football; NO more excuses.
