Do you think coach Napier is slow minded

Does anyone else think that maybe coach is slow minded?

I don't mean like Forrest Gump like mentally retarded or As an insult.

I'm talking about just the way he talks. And when you see him and you've seen people like this before they're kind of just slower than those people around them.

When I see him or hear him speak I think country bumpkin.

I'll never forget the 4 and inches half-back pass on the 34 yard line early in the 2nd Qtr and down only 10-7 against the Dawgs. Dumbest decision I have seen since Doug Dickey did something that dumb in 1974.

Wait a second. I don't think you get my meaning. I'm not saying he has a mental issue. I think he is just slow minded. He isn't quick on his feet like most good or great coaches.

I look around and seeing coaches being hired all the time and we have needed 2 coaches for how long now?

We have only offered like 5 portal players. We need to bring in more than that so we need to be offering a hell of a lot more.

I have said it time and again, he is deliberate and thoughtful. He thinks everything through to, just my opinion, perhaps the point of paralysis.

Being "fast" minded isn't necessarily a good thing either. When you react impulsively you are prone to lots of mistakes and when you are leading that many people you can't be jumping all over the place. You have to be consistent.

No one on this board is qualified to judge play calling. He's made some great calls too. The problem is no one running an organization of this magnitude has time in the day to call plays. It's a takeaway from all other aspects of coaching.

He is slow, but he is at least smarter than Sticklin. He held him up on the deal he received.
