Neither Shorter or Henderson were reliable? Pearsall was the only one?

You sound like you hate on all the Mullen leftovers but love the players Napier brought in.
That's what I'm saying.

I like that he's positive because we need that with so much negativity going on but he won't give a Mullen credit for anything and thinks that Napier walks on water even if he hasn't proven anything yet.

UF, Bama, LSU, and A&M have enough room in this class to pass UGA, and there's plenty of time left.
I agree. What I meant was no one can recruit like Kirby until he gets caught by the NCAA for recruiting violations. Their starting QB (Beck) this year is a kid out of Mandarin HS near Jacksonville. At first he was a baseball commit to Bama, then Mullin offered him and so did Kevin O'Sullivan and he flipped to us. Then just about 2 months later, Kirby offered him and he accepted without ever going for a visit. There are countless stories like this and somehow Kirby gets away with it time and again. I am sure our Recruiting Coordinator (Katie something) who came from UGA knows something.

IMO Mac did a very good job at UF, he recruited well, he coached well, and he came very close to turning the corner and taking flight. But he had some ego issues, similar to Mullen. He didn't understand that the AD was his boss and when the AD point to a specific issue as a problem, you don't argue or stonewall. He completely alienated Strickland, so when he started cracking under the pressure of the job in interviews, instead of helping him out, the AD demanded detailed explanation, and he was right to do it, and that was the end. But when he left Mac had a very good recruiting class (top ten I think) and his next year's class was at #1. So, so, close.
Who knows how Mac would have turned out had Will Greer not been suspended. There was something about Mac that I liked, and I am sorry that it did not work out here.

#3 class in the country, and you don't get it. Turned an irrelevant Louisiana football program around and took them to their first ever conference championship. And he hasn't proven anything? He's built a coaching staff at UF that's got everyone in college football talking. He's proven a lot and to a lot of people. But not you? And you claim to be a Gator fan? Then you totally mis-represent my statements about Mullen. They're still live on this site in several threads. He's an elite offensive mind and I've wished him the best, more than once on this site alone. But there's just no denying the mess he left the UF football program in. He and Muschamp are the two worst HC's UF has had. It's just my opinion, but not a lot of people disagree and the data says the same thing. If you can't recruit, you can't coach a successful program. Fact. Dan Mullen can't, and won't recruit. Fact. That's why it's also a fact he's gone. So you just need to let him go.

And wins nothing.
LOL. I can't help but like Kiffin. He reminds me of a young Steve Spurrier. Nobody not a Gator liked him either. Kiffin can flat out recruit, and as long as you can recruit, there's hope for you. He's just not the administrator Napier is. Or Saban. I think he's building a program now, though.

Seems like kiffin can recruit the portal but suspect on high school recruiting. Legit offensive mind but not proving his defensive recruiting

Napier wasn't able to do more with more last year. We lost to Vanderbilt. That wasn't a talent issue that was a Napier issue.
No that was a Napier culture issue. He refused to let the inmates run the asylum, as in Brenton Cox and the rest who baled because they were used to a coach who was detached from the day-to-day job. Mullen is a great OC, but that is it.
