I wouldn’t imagine anyone would have an official answer but any deal with Gatorade as being the national player of the year wouldn’t have anything to do with UF

I'll still cheer for any player who plays for us but it doesn't go as deep anymore knowing that they came to get paid more than for the love of the school.

I doubt Gatorade had to pay him much. That was more of a honor than something to make money off of.
