Our fan base isn’t subscribing to the theory that the little donations matter and want the big money folks to cover it. Most of the big money folks don’t want to donate to NIL.

Yes, I never did see how this was sustainable.
You aren't getting anything in return for your money, and even if you imagine you are "buying" a player, there's no guarantee he stays.
This is a pure example of throwing money away.
