The shocking part is that they would want him as a DC. Our linebackers weren't good under him.

A former player, who had a chance to spend some time around the team during a couple of practices and workouts said that they were allowed to be 'lazy' during the workouts. In an Anonymous Player Q&A, which was done about 10 days ago, and I plan on running on Monday, he said that while they workout hard, he didn't feel like they were as intense under Hocke as they were Savage. And then, here is Joshua Braun's dad raving about Savage and the strength coach at Arkansas, but despite his son training under Hocke for a season, basically didn't have anything good to say about him, only stating that understood that Napier was going to put his guy in there.
