Coach Golden's coaching got us ahead of the game again

Our players deserve credit for hitting the baskets but like I shared on here about a month back basketball experts are giving coach Golden credit for being a great crunch time coach who can change the game.

Coach used a time out to coach the players that he wanted them to foul their bad free throw shooters because it was still a 1 and 1.

One of the fouls we tried to commit didn't get called so we had to foul another player but he missed the front end of the 1 and 1.

The players hit the baskets but they were in the position to do it because of his coaching.

Golden waited too long to double the TT bigs backing in for easy baskets in the paint. It almost cost us. Clayton and Haugh bailed us out again and hopefully we play Auburn differently in the paint.

I’m with you. We looked unprepared to play again in the tournament. Before haugh first 3 Clayton threw up a beyond nba 3 point prayer. Haugh had to get a huge rebound and Clayton would have shot another prayer but he was double teamed. This wasn’t schemed for haugh to make those 2 3’s and get us back in the game. I thought golden was outcoached for the second time in this tournament. Huge golden fan, but man he deserves some criticism for this teams performances if we’re going to praise.
