I don't understand how it would help us to fire him right now.

We can't hire anyone new until after the season.

Why not keep him and at least make him earn some of the money we have to pay him.

Keep him in sort of a GM role for the rest of the season if not longer to manage the 14000 people he has hired as a staff. Make Spurrier either the Interim HBC or the AD after we fire Strickland as well. If we do not fire Strickland, completely take the hiring of the next HBC out of his job description and let Spurrier hire the next coach. Throw the bank at Kiffin.
