Napier credits A&M's Elko for always having a 'salty' defense.

Napier said the intention the entire time has been to play DJ Lagway every week. Talked about his poise and composure. Said he is ready to do what they intended for him to do going forward.

Graham Mertz had a couple of one on one walk throughs with DJ Lagway during the week, including Friday at the hotel.
Napier said they will do what is in the best interest of the team, and he thinks Mertz and Lagway can help make the team better.
Napier said that Kelby Collins is getting used to playing his new position after moving from F. He is now getting doubled teamed more, and he is developing.
That last little bit about Collins is what a coach normally says when they aren't happy with the practice habits of a player.
Replying to what Nick Saban said on Saturday, Napier said that UF needs to experience some success on the field, and that's the next step.
